How to get to Lacuniacha

This park is located just two kilometers from the center of Jaca stone. But if you go from Huesca, then you will have about 80 kilometers ahead, along the N-330. While from Pamplona it will be about 150 km on the A-21 and N-240. If you leave from Zaragoza, then it is 151 kilometers going by A-23 and N-330. You can drive right up to its entrance and it has free parking.

Once there we can enjoy a unique place, where flora and fauna coexist. They are a total of 30 hectares, where the animals that live there, can walk in a very natural way and in their own habitat. The vast majority of them were rescued from other places, where they did not have the advantages that they have in a place as wide and natural as this. Here they are not locked up, but they can go all the places they want.

Many animal species that we are going to find in this place, as well as plants and flowers. But if we think of the former, then we must mention bears, deer or foxes and reindeer among others. Goats, European bison or Pzewalski horses and lynxes also roam this beautiful natural place.

The route through the park

Hay a route that is perfectly signposted so you don't miss anything. It is about taking a tour, walking through all the corners where you can enjoy wildlife, seeing how animals coexist, rest or interact with others. So we must always follow the indications of this park. As we have commented, we have some paths that are well indicated. In addition, in the middle of it there is a bar and cafeteria area.

How could it be less, every time we go up through the park, there are also three viewpoints at our disposal. From where we can enjoy the views of the valley as well as Peña Telera or the sierra. It must be said that the route itself can last from two to three hours. But you can also spend a morning or an afternoon there, because you have rest areas. If you have not brought to recharge your batteries, in the bar that we mentioned there will be sandwiches as well as soft drinks and everything you need.

It will always depend on the season, so times may vary slightly. It is true that the opening hours will always be the same, at 10:00 in the morning. But from July 1 to August 31 it will be open until 20:00. While from September 1 to October 15, the park will close at 18:00 p.m. Only on holidays and Saturdays, you will find it until 20:00. From October 16 to March 31 until 18:00 p.m. and from April 1 to June 1 until 30:18 p.m. and on Saturdays or holidays, until 00:20 p.m. While on Christmas day they will open tomorrow: from 00 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Tips for your visit to the park

First of all, as it is a walk or route, we have to be provided with mountain footwear or just sneakers, that allow us to enjoy comfort. If you go in winter, then it is advisable to bring warm clothing because there may be snow or ice. It is also advisable to go with walking sticks and we must always follow the signposted routes. If you go with babies, they will have baby carriers there, since the strollers or chairs do not move on the paths. Nor can any type of plant be uprooted, since the vast majority of them are protected species. In addition to the bars that we already mentioned, you also have a shop to take with you a nice souvenir of your visit.

How much does it cost to visit Lacuniacha?

Children under the age of four are admitted free. From 4 to 11 years old they will pay 12 euros. Teenagers from 12 to 17 will have to pay 14 euros to visit Lacuniacha. For adults between 18 and 64 years old, it will be 16 euros and those over 65, 12 euros. Of course, if you have a large family, you will have a discounted price but for this, you will have to contact the official website. In the same way as for groups, which will also have special prices and even a guide, without paying more for him, who will accompany them on the visit. For this, it has to be a group of 26 people and that group will only pay for 25 people. Within the group, the rates vary and is that children from 4 to 17 years old will pay 8 euros. Adults, 10,75 euros and those over 65, 8 euros.
