The viewpoint of memory
As its name suggests, it is a natural viewpoint, which allows us to admire the entire Jerte Valley. From the N-110 road we will go uphill and we will find it just a couple of kilometers before El Torno. In addition to the great views, there are also some sculptures that provide the most melancholic air towards those who are no longer with us and who perform tribute to those killed in the Civil War. They were placed in the place in 2008. Already from the town of El Torno we can admire great views thanks to the various spaces as a balcony.
But also, this viewpoint is not the only one in the place. Because in the vast majority of corners, one appears to us. We have the viewpoint of Puerto de Tornavacas. It is almost at the foot of the road, making it one of the most visited places. The viewpoint of the mount of the crossIt has a picnic area as well as incredible views of the peaks. However the viewpoint of the chorrero de la Virgen It is right in the center of the nature reserve. So to get there, you will have to go through the forest. But you will have a path that takes you to another of the most incredible points. There the waterfall will be the main protagonist. The San Felipe viewpoint is in Cabezuela del Valle and the El Cerrillo viewpoint is in Navaconcejo.

In this case, we will have to go to Cabezuela del Valle. There we will find a typical house of the area but that has been rehabilitated to house this museum. The cultivation of cherries is a tradition, so the whole process is explained here, through interactive resources. The trees are illuminated for several days in one of the villages. It is a festival that has attracted the attention of many tourists and has been declared of tourist interest.
The natural pools of the Jerte Valley
In Tornavacas we will find a large pool and a smaller one for children. You will see them in the Chorrillo. While in Jerte, we have the pool 'El Nogalón', which is next to the mill square. Right next to it you have a playground and also shady parts, in case the heat gets too hot. Also in Jerte, there is 'La Tenería'. Place that you will find right at the entrance of the town, but if you come from the Tornavacas area.

The pool of 'Los Pilones' it is located between Jerte and Cabezuela del Valle. Without a doubt, it is one of the most beautiful, although to see it we have to go up a path of about three kilometers. Although it may not seem like it, we can also go with children and they will love it. On the outskirts of Cabezuela del Valle we are going to find another of the pools that is well worth a visit. Its name is 'La Pesquerona' and in addition to having a shady area it also has a beach bar. Very close to it, we find the call 'Blue Bridge Pool', because there is a metal bridge right next to it. Just as a recommendation for these bathing areas, you have to be very careful of the rocks. Not in all of them, but some can slip and therefore, we must carefully monitor the little ones in the house.
